Clove bud essential oil can have hepatotoxic or irritating effects on the skin and mucous membranes if administered in high doses and for an extended period. Therefore, its use is preferably reserved for experienced practitioners.
Oral administration: 1 drop of clove bud essential oil, 3 times a day with a little honey, syrup, or on a lozenge, for oral infections.
On the skin: Mix 4 drops of organic clove bud essential oil with 20 drops of hazelnut vegetable oil for fungal infections.
In diffusion: In atmospheric diffusion, clove bud essential oil disinfects your rooms thanks to its germicidal properties. It stimulates the mind and helps combat depression.

Energetic value and synergy
In energy aromatherapy, clove bud essential oil is associated with the root chakra "Muladhara." Its color is orange.
In Ayurvedic medicine, clove bud harmonizes the three Doshas: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. When the Muladhara chakra is open, it activates fertility and inner warmth.
