Fats (olive oil, coconut oil, shea butter) + Lye
We have selected pure, natural raw ingredients and organic vegetable oils (including cold-pressed olive oils) with truly superb cosmetic properties that are rich in unsaponifiable matter, and all sourced from responsible channels. To preserve the quality of our raw materials as much as possible, we never exceed 30°C throughout the soap making process.
- End result of cold process soap making
Soap+ Glycerine
The chemical reaction creates soap and vegetable glycerine (approximately 8%) which is highly prized in the cosmetics world for its skin hydrating properties.
- Soap drying time (Curing)
A minimum of two months of drying is needed to complete the soap making process and dry out the soap.
- Advantages of cold process soap making
Unsaponifiable: Matter unaltered by the soap making process and which is present in oils:
- Vitamines
- Trace elements
- Minerals
Unique properties : antioxidant, nourishing, emollient, softening, protective.
Up to 7% superfats : Addition of vegetable oil at the end of the soap making process. The end result is a gentle moisturising soap that protects the skin’s natural defence barrier (the hydrolipidic film).
